Dear Parents,
We are already working on Term 2 of the 2023-2024 academic year! We are having a great year and our students and teachers are working extremely hard! We should all be proud of the accomplishments that our students have already made this year! The PTO appreciates your support as we work together to provide the best educational experiences for our children!
A Look Ahead:
MAUE Scholastic Book Fair
MAUE's Scholastic Book Fair is November 6-10th. Make sure to check the schedule for your child's shopping date and time. The shopping schedule was sent home in take home folders. In addition to their scheduled shopping time, you will be able to shop with your child after the Thanksgiving Feast on Friday, November 10th and Family Night on November 7th from 4:30-6:30 pm. We recommend using the eWALLET system! Click the link below to create an eWALLET for your child.
We could use more help to make things run smoothly! Take a look at the schedule and sign up to help. We still have several spots open for volunteers, and we need some extra hands to make sure the book fair is a great time for all students. Shifts available in the morning, during lunch hours and before/after the Thanksgiving Feast.
Thanksgiving Feast
You are invited to join us for our annual Thanksgiving Fest at MAUE on November 10th. Gather with us to enjoy all of the classic Thanksgiving dishes and reflect on how blessed we are at MAUE. You have the option to eat a Thanksgiving meal from the cafeteria with your child, but please only do so if you turned in your Thanksgiving Feast form. Be on the lookout for your child's lunch time soon!
Fall Apparel Preorder
It's time to order your fall JAG gear! Our pre-order is open until November 12th, so do not delay! Place those orders now! We have plenty of options including long sleeve t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hats. All orders are placed online via the link below. Extra apparel will not be ordered!!
Teacher Appreciation Lunch
Our teachers and staff work so hard to love on our children and make school a happy place for them to learn and grow and the PTO is honored to serve them lunch each month to show our appreciation. Each grade level will take a turn to sponsor a month. The teachers were so grateful for the October tailgate themed lunch provided by our 5th grade parents. We want to continue to show our appreciation in November! 3rd grade will sponsor the lunch on November 17th. We are asking for monetary donations of $5, as well as those able to help serve the day of the lunch. Please see the sign up below. Any contribution is appreciated!
Spirit Night @ Crumbl Cookies!
Mark your calendars for December 5th to join us at Crumbl Cookies for Spirit Night! Make sure to sign in when you arrive at Crumbl, and send the receipt to school with your student the next day.
Congratulations to Gray Anderson! He is the winner of our yearbook cover contest! His artwork will be the cover of this year's yearbook!
2023-2024 Yearbook Orders
Mark ordering your 2023-2024 yearbook off of that to-list before the price increases! Orders must be placed online, and extra yearbooks will not be ordered. Bump this to the top of your to-do list before it's too late!
Lost and Found
Parents, our lost and found is beginning to overflow, and your students need their warm weather gear! As you come for lunch, PTO meetings, and volunteering, please stop by and check things out. There are coats, jackets, lunchboxes, and water bottles needing to be picked up by their owners. Any items left after we dismiss for the winter holiday will be donated.
