A message from our Principal:
Dear MAUE Families,
Thank you to everyone who participated in the MCS water drive. A truck load of water was delivered to JPS from the Madison County School District.
I also want to thank everyone for their participation in the Jag Zone Canned Food Drive. MAUE collected 5,309 canned goods and the entire K-12 Jag Zone collected 87, 222 canned goods. This is just evidence of how great the Jag Zone Family is and how our children and families give back to our communities!
It’s hard to believe that we are already wrapping up Term 1, and we are about to begin Term 2! Please note that Report Cards will go home on Thursday, October 13th. Our students have worked so hard and I’m so proud of each and every one of them!
Our community night will also be the evening of Thursday, October 13th. Our students are setting forth on an adventure to earn their Time Traveler Certification. Doors will open at 5:30 and we will begin traveling through time that evening with lots of fun, laughing and learning for all. I hope we can make it safely back to the year 2022!
I will send home a principal’s update with report cards, and I appreciate you supporting our PTO fundraiser. This money will be spent on updating our playground equipment.
Thank you for being a part of the MAUE family,
Dr. Kim Brewer
Fast Forward To The Future

We want to give a HUGE thank you for all of your support given to make a successful fundraiser this year! Every child at MAUE will benefit from the fundraiser, and we could not have done it without your help! We are still tallying results, but winners will be announced soon! The drawing for the FUTURE travel voucher winner will be Friday, October 14th!
It’s here!!! Our new playground equipment has finally been installed and has been a big hit with our students! Many thanks to Partner In Education Berry Construction for removing the gravel so that the equipment could be installed, and many thanks to all of YOU for your support in raising money last year to purchase the new equipment. We can’t wait to see what playground improvements will be coming next thanks to your fundraising efforts this year!
The first Jag Store of the year will be October 25th-October 27th! For those of you who don't know, the Jag Store is a quarterly sale sponsored by the PTO. All proceeds above cost go directly to the school to benefit the students. Sale items include everything from cute stickers, fun pens, erasers, and candy to mini speakers and headphones. Prices range from $0.25 to $10. Please send cash only with your student. Fifth graders shop first on Tuesday morning, Fourth grade shops on Wednesday, and Third grade shops last on Thursday morning. Be on the look out (early October) for a signup genius asking for parent volunteers to help during the sale!
