School is in full swing on the Avenue, and we could not be more excited about it!
We are having a great start to the 2023-2024 school year! August has come and gone in a flash! Open House was a great success, and we hope that you enjoyed getting an even better look at the hard work our students and staff are doing each day. Our students have adjusted well to their new classrooms, procedures, and friends. We have so much to be proud of here at MAUE!
PTO Membership Drive Success!
Thank you for your support during the PTO drive! Because of your support, every class was able to reach their goal of 40 percent membership and we are at over 200 members!
Didn't get a chance to join?? It’s never too late to join the PTO! When you join the PTO, you are pouring directly into your child’s experience at MAUE. Our PTO funds many activities and materials for our school. Just to name a few, PTO provides art supplies for our art program, STEAM activities for Team Tuesday, and our new playground equipment! Joining does not require volunteering and your financial support is appreciated!

Please join us for the monthly PTO meeting the first Thursday of each month at 11:00 in the MAUE library. Next meeting dates are October 5th and November 2nd.

MAUE Travel Raffle - August 31st - September 15th
At MAUE, we are WILD about ADVENTURE!!! We had an incredible pep rally to kick off our fall fundraiser! Students are selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a $5,000 Travel Voucher!!! Ticket books and information came home with your student on Thursday, August 31st. Tickets can also be purchased online at MAUEraffle.com !! (enter in student's name or 3 digit code for credit) Dress up days will keep up the excitement as students sell tickets to earn fun prizes - Slime Lickers, cupcakes, pizza, electronic time and a field trip to SKY ZONE!!! All ticket booklets/collected money needs to be turned in on Friday, September 18th. The winner of the drawing will be announced on at Community Night on September 28th!
Our goal is $50,000!!! Will you help us get there!?! Proceeds will help the PTO fund our last phase of the three year playground upgrade campaign and expansion! We would not have been able to complete Phases one and two without you! Thank you in advance for your support!

Photos taken will be included in the 2023-2024 Yearbook and will be available for ordering. An order form will be sent home with your child before Picture Day.

Yearbook Cover Contest: Due Sept. 15
Attention all 5th graders! Here is your chance to have your artwork featured as the cover of the 2023-2024 yearbook! See the flyer that was sent home for all details and rules for entry. Submissions are due September 15th! No late submissions will be accepted.
Guest Author LIVE at MAUE
We are THRILLED to host guest author and New York Times best selling middle grade thriller author, Margaret Peterson Haddix on September 15th at MAUE! All students will attend the presentation. Students who purchased a copy of her book will come to the library after the presentation for a special book signing! Order forms and payment were due on Tuesday, September 5th.
Community Night - Fall Festival!!
Join us for Community Night on September 28th from 4:30-6:30! MAUE's first ever FALL FESTIVAL will be an evening you won't want to miss. This come and go event will be fun for the entire family! We will play carnival games, win fun prizes, and enjoy dunking booth fun!
We will draw for the $5,000 raffle grand prize on this night! Sell those tickets to see your principals get DUNKED!
Canned Food Drive
Join Jag zone schools in the fight against hunger! Please bring in canned food items from September 25th - 29th!
We will be accepting all canned: veggies, soups, fruits, beef stew, Vienna sausages, canned meats, tomato sauces, and macaroni and cheese.
The Top 3 classes (one from each grade level) that brings in the highest number of cans will win a SNOW CONE PARTY!!!
