Works with the Chair to design and install themed based decorations for the school throughout the year.
Decoration time includes, but is not limited to, back to school and holidays.
This committee works with the Chair to organize the annual MAUE fundraiser(s). Volunteers will promote the event along with collect, tabulate money, and track incentives. In addition, volunteers will plan, organize, and distribute student incentives. Volunteers may be needed for photographing student dress up days and making end of the day announcements. Volunteer time requirements will be concentrated amounts of time.
The committee assists the Chair(s) in setting up and running the Jag store. The Jag store is set up for students 4 times a year and is traditionally set up on a Monday afternoon and run for students to shop Tuesday-Thursday 7:30-9:00 am (or until the grade of the day has finished shopping). Committee members are needed to assist students with questions, and line flow as well assist the Chair(s) with purchasing as necessary.
Volunteers work with the Library Chair to set up and running of the Scholastic Book Fair (November 5th, set up- November 8th-12th), Read Across America Day (March 2nd), the Magnolia Breakfast (February TBA), and other events hosted by the Library. Committee members will help decorate and, as available, host events.
The President-Elect will serve as the MAUE President for the 2022-2023 school year. He/She will serve on the 2021-2022 MAUE Executive Board and be involved in the planning and implementation of the MAUE strategic plan.
Works with Chair and Co-Chair to host special luncheons, gifts, or other special events for faculty and staff throughout the year. Committee will plan and distribute gifts for all birthday and appreciation days throughout the year. Committee will ensure all planned events are covered.
Yearbook volunteer help take pictures of students and classes for the yearbook so that the yearbook is representative of our student body and all activities at MAUE. Works with the Chair to ensure each event at the school is adequately covered. Also, committee helps the Chair with promotions, sales and distribution of yearbooks as needed.
