December 2023 Jag Blast

Happy Holidays, MAUE!

We have so many wonderful festivities planned for December including JAG Store, Santa coming to visit, class parties, and that is just to name a few. We hope you have gotten a chance to hear all about the festive hallways that bring a magical feel to our school. Thank you to the parents who came to decorate! It makes the season truly special, and we plan to use the excitement of the holidays to motivate and excite students about learning.

Our holiday break begins at 11:30 on Friday, December 22nd. The PTO wants to wish everyone a joyous holiday season and a safe holiday break. Classes will resume on Thursday, January 9th. Report cards will be sent home the following week on Thursday, January 11th.

A Look Ahead:

 JAG Store

It’s time for the December Jag store! The sale will be held from 12/12 through 12/14. We’ll have a special wrapping station so the kids can keep their gifts a secret. Items are priced from $0.25 to $10. Please send cash with your student on their shopping day (5th grade-12/12, 4th grade 12/13, and 3rd 12/14). All proceeds go directly to the school!

2023-2024 Yearbook Orders

You will want to order your 2023-2024 yearbook before the price increases! Take advantage of the early bird prices before January! Remember, the PTO does not order extra yearbooks, so bump this to the TOP of your to-do list!

Spirit Night @ Bandwagon Sports

Come check out Bandwagon Sports in Madison on December 15th and 16th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Let them know you are with MAUE, and they will donate 15% of the proceeds to our school. It's a great time to check out a new business in our community while also supporting MAUE!

Class Parties and Early Dismissal

Class parties will be held on December 22nd from 9:30-10:30. Be on the lookout for sign ups from homeroom parents. We will dismiss at 11:30 on this day, and students will return to school on January 9th. We hope you have a safe and relaxig holiday season!

Lost and Found

Parents, our lost and found is beginning to overflow, and your students need their warm weather gear! As you come for lunch, PTO meetings, and volunteering, please stop by and check things out. There are coats, jackets, lunchboxes, and water bottles needing to be picked up by their owners. Any items left after we dismiss for the winter holiday will be donated.
