We’re two weeks away from officially kicking off our Madison Avenue Upper Fun Run Spring Fundraiser and our students and staff are so excited! We’re looking forward to having fun and building community together.

Here’s what you need to know:
Early Registration started Thursday, February 29th. Every student who registers by Thursday, March 7th gets a special treat!
Our school goal is to raise $40,000 for General PTO Fund and Playground Upgrades.
Our program begins on 03/18/2024 with a Kick-off at 1:00p.m. and will culminate in our Madison Avenue Upper Fun Run on 03/28/2024.
Fun Run on 3/28/2024
3rd grade- 10:00a.m.
4th grade- 8:00a.m.
5th grade- 12:00p.m.
School wide incentives:
$30,000- Popsicles and Sunglasses (provided by Eyeworks) at Booster Run
$35,000- Popsicles, Sunglasses, T-shirts (provided by Bandwagon) and it’s now a COLOR RUN!
$40,000- Popsicles, Sunglasses, T-shirts and Mrs. Hammett and Dr. Diltz dress like Cry Babies for a day!

Make-A-Wish! March 4th-8th
During the week of March 4th through 8th, MAUE will be conducting a fundraiser to help support 4 year old Collier Knutson through Make-A-Wish Mississippi. Bring $1 each day to dress up while also supporting a good cause!
Arts on the Avenue
Mark your calendars for an event for the whole family! On April 11th, we will join our Madison Avenue family and bring both schools together for an evening of food trucks, play, music and student art! More information will be coming home after spring break!

5th Grade Field Trip to McWane Science Center
On Wednesday, March 6th, our 5th graders will be hitting the road for Birmingham, Alabama! They will spend the day at McWane Science Center for a day full of fun and learning!
Spirit Night! Thursday, March 7th
No need to cook this close to Spring Break! Head to Chick Fil A in Madison to give yourself a break while also supporting MAUE! Make sure you mention either in the app or when you order in person that you are here to support our school! Headed to the 3rd grad play? Even better...stop by Chick Fil A on the way home to celebrate your Broadway star! See you there this Thursday!
Broadway Lights this Thursday!
Our 3rd graders have been working hard to dazzle you with their musical, Broadway Lights! They will perform Thursday, March 7th at Madison Central High School. The show will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. Students should plan to arrive early to take their places on stage.

Jag Store! April 3rd-5th
Our last Jag Store of the year is April 3rd through 5th. Please save and send disposable grocery sacks with your students to help make this event run smoothly! A sign-up genius will be sent out closer to time.

We hope you have a restful week March 11th-15th as we take time off for Spring Break. We will see you back on Monday, March 18th to finish out our last nine weeks together. Let's finish strong!
