We are in the home stretch y'all! The last day of school will be here before you know it, but we still have lots planned before summer break.
Teacher Appreciation Week is the week of May 6th. See below for a list of our plans for the week. We need the students' help on Tuesday and Thursday!
Monday (5/6) - Breakfast & Coffee provided by PTO
Tuesday (5/7) - Students are encouraged to bring a flower to contribute to a class arrangement for each teacher.
Wednesday (5/8) - Sweet treats provided by the PTO
Thursday (5/9) - Students are encouraged to make cards to give to their teachers.
Friday (5/10) - Lunch for all staff provided by the PTO
Thank you for helping to make this a special week for all of our wonderful teachers!
MAUE students will have Field Day on Friday, May 17th. This year, Field Day will include a Color Run for all grades! So be sure to send your student in a white t-shirt, as well as a change of clothes if you think they would like to change. Be on the look out for an email from your Homeroom Parent in the next week or so with additional details. The grades will go out one at a time for activities, and we will need LOTS of parent volunteers during this day to help coordinate all the fun and games for the kids. 4th Grade - 12:00 - 2:00
5th Grade - 10:00 - 12:00
5th Grade Awards Day
Our 5th Graders will have their Awards Day ceremony on Tuesday, May 21st at 9:30 am in the MCHS Auditorium. All the students will perform a song and walk across the stage for their certificate, so please plan to attend. We ask that the students also dress "up" for the event - girls in a dress and boys in dress pants with collared shirt. Teachers sent home an information sheet on the event a couple of weeks ago.
